The network behind "Quiet on Set" is turning focus to Nick and Aaron Carter next.
Investigation Discovery has dropped a trailer for a new four-part documentary series called "Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter," which will delve into the sexual assault allegations against Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, as well as his brother Aaron Carter's mental health struggles and substance abuse issues.
The documentary is set to feature interviews with Nick Carter accusers Melissa Schuman, Ashley Repp and Shay Ruth, as well as his ex-girlfriend Kaya Jones, and Melanie Martin, the former fiancé of Aaron Carter. In the trailer, Jones says, "There's things that I know about Nick that could burn his house down."
"Nick looks like a perfect, pretty Ken doll, but I know how evil he can be," Jones also says in the footage.

Nick Carter has denied the allegations of sexual assault. His attorney, Liane K. Wakayama, told USA TODAY in 2023 that a lawsuit filed against him by Schuman alleging sexual assault was a "PR stunt," adding, "Melissa Schuman has been peddling this tale for many years, but her allegation was false when she first made it back in 2017 — and it still is."
Ruth also sued Carter in 2022, accusing the singer of rape. His attorney denied the allegation at the time, telling USA TODAY that the claims were "not only legally meritless but also entirely untrue."

According to Investigation Discovery, "Fallen Idols" aims to pull "back the curtain on the fraught dynamic of the Carter family and the dark side of such an abrupt rise to fame," exploring the allegations against Nick, as well as Aaron's "struggles with mental health and substance abuse — and the rift that occurred after Aaron decided to support his brother's accusers." Aaron Carter was found dead at his California home in 2022 at age 34 after drowning in his bathtub.
"Fallen Idols" is the latest series from Investigation Discovery after "Quiet on Set," which explored allegations of abuse and toxicity behind the scenes of Nickelodeon. The initial four-part series was extended in April with a bonus fifth episode, and directors Mary Robertson and Emma Schwartz have suggested there could be additional follow-ups. "We are committed to continuing the reporting," Robertson previously told USA TODAY.
How to watch 'Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter'
"Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter" will air on Investigation Discovery across two nights on May 27 and May 28 at 9 p.m. ET. The episodes will also stream on Max.
